About
Us
The Parenting Advice Online site was
born out of our love for our
children, our need to always learn
more about how to improve their
lives and a recognition that as we
are on a learning curve, so are many
other parents, first-timers and
otherwise. One can never know
“enough” about parenting or for that
matter, understand our children
“well enough”. We have come some
ways towards understanding and
caring for our own kids but we also
know that we have a long way to
come. So in a way we want this site
to be a journey that any parent can
join in at any time, starting off at
the age group of their child and
progress through the others as time
goes by.
To serve you with the best advice,
we are drawing not only on our own
experiences, but also on the
experiences and stories of our
friends who are raising or have
raised children. We also
continually search the web for the
best that it can offer. After all,
what are we if we cannot learn from
each other?
We hope that you will find our site
informative and of value, it really
is a labor of love and a place where
we can express our love for our
children and we hope, also for you
and yours. Follow the links to our
blog and participate in the forums,
adding your opinions and experiences
to it so that we and others may
learn from you in turn. Everyone’s
parenting experiences are unique and
we believe that by sharing we
potentially make everyone else’s
experiences potentially so much the
richer.
Take care and enjoy

PS: Sarie & Marionette are
two sisters who have seven boys
between them. They come from a
family of 6 children and their
father is one of 16 brothers and
sisters. Their Grandmother is still
alive at 96 and her grandchildren
and great-grandchildren runs into
the many hundreds. Between them
they have shared the joys and
tribulations of tripping around the
globe, living on different
continents and experiencing
different cultures with their
children, they’ve been through the
trauma of loosing loved-ones
including a child and of course,
experienced births of varying
degrees of difficulty during the
past 12 years. Jacques and Colin do
exactly as they are told. A blessed
family indeed! |
